Coventry · District 4

Serving Coventry.

Mia's work representing District 4 on the Coventry Town Council — updates, resources and a direct line for constituent concerns.

District 4

District 4: Our Past. Our Present. Our Future.

District 4 is more than lines on a map. It is home to established neighborhoods, longtime Coventry families, small businesses and newer residents putting down roots of their own.

From Quidnick and the areas surrounding Wood Street and Tiogue Avenue to the neighborhoods in between, this part of Coventry tells an important piece of our town's story. Our past matters because knowing where we came from helps us make better decisions about where we are going.

Today, District 4 residents face issues including property taxes, traffic, drainage, road conditions, development, public safety and the rising cost of living. The decisions Coventry makes today about infrastructure, development, water, roads, public safety and spending will shape this community for decades.

My goal is simple: Protect what makes Coventry special while planning responsibly for the Coventry we are becoming.

Deep Roots. Strong Future.

Part of Coventry's story.

My own family's roots are part of that history. The old photographs of Quidnick Greenhouses and my family's home on Washington Street are reminders that the Coventry we know today was built one family, one home, and one small business at a time. Those places were more than buildings. They represented families investing in their community and creating something they hoped the next generation could carry forward.

Today, District 4 continues to grow and change. New families are putting down roots alongside residents whose families have called Coventry home for generations. While we should never be afraid of progress, we should make sure that progress respects the character, history, neighborhoods, infrastructure, and people who made this community what it is.

For me, serving District 4 is about connecting our past to our future. It means remembering where we came from, protecting what makes our neighborhoods special, supporting our residents and local businesses, and making thoughtful decisions today that the next generation will be proud of tomorrow.

"Our history gives us roots. Our neighbors give us strength. And together, we build what comes next."
